Where do we get our food?

I would like to take a moment to acknowledge the ladies at the market. They always remember Rochelle and Ginger. We try to buy something from each one of them, you know, to spread the love. Their mangoes are usually good, but the PINEAPPLES are just exquisite.

 

Sometimes, they sell flowers. They come from the Rift Valley, where there are acres upon acres of roses. You can't see them though, since the greenhouses keep them warm.  

 

This is Martha (below), she keeps track of everything we pick up. She adds up the bounty, so we always leave her a tip. It was really hard to get her to smile!

Check out those strawberries! They were the best we've ever tasted.

This is essentially where we get all of our produce. We place the fruits and veggies without a peel in a bleach mixture to eliminate all of the bacteria. It seems to work, since no one has gotten sick yet!
